Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and BigVision Academy (“BigVision”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of bigvision.academy, our free workshops and events, and the free resources we publish for download.

By browsing this website, submitting a form, registering for a workshop or downloading a resource, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What they do not cover: enrolment in our paid programme. That is governed by a separate agreement — see section 03.

This website and our programme are intended for people aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, use the site and submit forms only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

When you fill in a form, the details you give us must be your own and accurate. We verify mobile numbers with a one-time password, so please use a number you actually control. Do not submit somebody else’s contact details, and do not sign anyone else up for a workshop without asking them first.

Nothing on this website is an offer, a quotation, or a contract for our paid programme. Pages describing the curriculum, the floor and the mentorship are descriptive marketing, not contractual terms.

Fees, payment schedules, refunds, cancellation, attendance requirements, the code of conduct on the floor and grounds for removal are all set out in the enrolment agreement you sign with us directly before you join a batch. Read it carefully — that is the document that binds both of us.

If anything on this website conflicts with your enrolment agreement, the enrolment agreement prevails.

Submitting an enquiry, downloading a resource or attending a free workshop does not reserve you a seat, create any obligation on us to admit you, or entitle you to a place in a batch. We assess and select applicants.

Please read this section carefully. It is the one most likely to matter to you.

We provide genuine career support: resume and ATS review, technical mock interviews, portfolio development, one-on-one mentorship from senior engineers, and referrals to companies in our network.

We do not guarantee any of the following:

• /A job, a job offer, or employment of any kind.
• /An interview with any particular company.
• /Any specific salary, CTC or level.
• /Employment within any particular timeframe, or at all.

A referral is an introduction, nothing more. The hiring decision belongs entirely to the company, and we have no control over it. Your outcome depends on your own effort, attendance, aptitude and the state of the job market.

The student projects, testimonials and stories shown on this website are individual experiences. They are not typical results, not averages, and not a promise of what you will achieve.

Our workshops are free to attend and require registration. Capacity is limited, and registering does not guarantee you a seat if a session is oversubscribed — where that happens we allocate places at our discretion.

We may change the date, time, format, agenda or instructor of a workshop, or cancel it entirely. If we do, we will tell you at the email address and mobile number you registered with. Since the workshops are free, our responsibility for a change or cancellation is limited to letting you know.

Please do not record, stream, or redistribute a workshop session without our written permission. Sessions may themselves be recorded — if you appear in one, we may use that recording as described in section 10.

Playbooks, syllabi, guides and other downloads are provided for your personal, non-commercial learning.

You may not resell them, republish them, upload them to other platforms, distribute them in bulk, or use them to build a competing course or programme.

We write these carefully, but they are provided as is. Technology moves fast and some details will age. Nothing in them is professional, financial, legal or career advice, and we may change or withdraw any resource at any time.

When you submit a form you are asking us to get in touch. We do that by phone call, WhatsApp, SMS and email — a counsellor or engineer following up, plus occasional updates about batches, workshops and new resources.

You can stop this at any time: reply STOP on WhatsApp or SMS, use the unsubscribe link in any email, tell whoever calls you, or email support@bigvision.academy.

How we handle the data behind all of this is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Straightforward things we ask you not to do:

• /Submit false information, or somebody else’s contact details.
• /Scrape the site, run bots against it, or submit forms in bulk.
• /Interfere with the site’s operation, or attempt to bypass the OTP or anti-bot checks.
• /Upload or transmit malicious code.
• /Harass or abuse our staff, mentors or other students.
• /Impersonate BigVision, or imply an association or endorsement that does not exist.
• /Copy our curriculum or site content to build a competing offering.

We may block access to the site, or decline an application, if any of this happens.

The website, our curriculum, our resources, and the text, images, video, illustrations, logo and the BigVision name are owned by us or licensed to us. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

You get a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to view the site and use our free resources for your own learning. That is the whole of it.

You own what you build. We claim no ownership over your code, your projects or your ideas.

If you would like us to feature your project, or you give us a testimonial, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to show it — on this website, in our materials and on social media — along with your name and photograph where you have agreed to that.

You can withdraw that permission whenever you like. Email support@bigvision.academy and we will take it down.

This site relies on services we do not control — Google and Firebase for hosting, verification and analytics, Meta for advertising measurement, geolocation providers, and WhatsApp for messaging. Their own terms apply to their services.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. They are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices.

We work to keep the site up, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it — including free resources and workshops — without notice and without liability to you.

We may also update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. If a change materially affects an enrolled student, we will say so directly rather than quietly editing this page.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and our free services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We are not liable for:

• /Indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss.
• /Loss of earnings, opportunities, offers or anticipated career outcomes.
• /Any decision you take in reliance on our free content.
• /Interruption, downtime, or loss of data caused by a third-party service.

Because these services are provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability in connection with them is limited to the amount you have paid us for them — which is nil. Liability arising from the paid programme is dealt with in your enrolment agreement.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

Before it gets that far, please talk to us. Email support@bigvision.academy and we will make a genuine effort to sort it out. Almost everything can be resolved with a conversation.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
